Well I also have the grand slam bow hunter and love it. once you climb you can adjust so the seat has a lazy boy effect, you can set high or low. but I usually sit until I hear movement, I keep my bow so I can easily reach and keep my seat portion of my stand so that I kinda just lean forward and im standing. now with my portable I usually stand most of the time, and sit when i need a lil break.
