Don't ya like the newer 870's? I picked up another one for home defense for 205 dollars on sale at bass pro. I have one that I got like 15 years ago, that I think I paid more for.
Yeah I like the older 870's OLD is good especially when it comes to Remington.
It ranks in the top 3 all time shotguns.
1. WInchester model 12...greatest pump I have ever used...old but goodie on future
firearm aquisition list.
2. Remington 870 OLD great pump shotgun as well
3. Ithaca 37 pump... sweet and lightweight ...slug gun on the future firearm aquisition list.
Now since I really hate to voice my opinion on things and hurt the feelings of truly sensitive people. I will put the following disclaimer on my opinion
there are other shotguns out there that have provided good service for their owners. No one can tell their owners they are nothing but the best . If I had one I certainly would not trade it for any other current pump gun. BOY am I politically correct or what ?
