Sako & Tikka, they both have barrels made by the same company. They both have the same accuracy guaranty with free floating barrels. They both have very nice and smooth actions. They both have adjustable triggers and a 70° bolt lift. They both can use the Optilock mounting system which is very nice.
The Sako has no plastic parts. The Sako clip holds more rounds. The Sako has 5 different lengths of action to match the cartridges as the Tikka has only one long action. I might have missed a couple of things but that pretty well sums it up. I prefer the Sako rifle because of no plastic parts, the clip, the different action lengths, the synthetic stock and that’s why I have one and I’m looking for another one very soon. The end result is the one that’s buying the rifle should be happy.
