Wow! My problem has nothing to do with the size. I can not answer with any degree of certainty whether its your bear or not. But, $740 for a rug! that seems outrageous to me. I use a taxidermist that is very honest. I consider him a friend. He charges $400 for up to a 6 foot black bear. Bigger than that he has to charge more because it cost him more. But, he will quote a price in the beginning. I think you are getting taken myself. Again this is just my humble opinion. I don't know what recourse you have at this point.
