bigmatt do you know that at 100 yds the .17 hmr has less energy than a .22 long. at 200 yds it has less than half the energy on a .22 long. at 250 yds you are entering into a good bb gun energy leve
please missed another stop talking about **** you dont know about and stop making stuff up, have you look at the ballisitcs. cci's site likes a 135lbs of energy for a 17hmr 17gr and 148ftlbs for the 20gr at 100 yards and 93 ftlbs for a 40gr longrifle, the velocitor has 110ftlbs at 100 yards with 40gr still less then 17hmr. heres some ballisitcs from Varmint als at 200 yards there almost even but the 17hmr is still on top. sure the.22 have more energy at 250 yards, but look at the drop in that chart the only way you could anything at 250 yards with that kinda drop is if you had ballistic charts and a spoter. so do us all a favor and stop running your mouth.
