I was wondering why my ears were burnin'...[>:]

Dunno what the big deal is. Bows have been getting shorter and uglier every year for ages now. This design is just slightly ahead of it's time. I'd be willing to bet this is what all bows will look like in another 5-10 years. Just think of the reduction in materials costs and of the manufacturers' profit margins when they can eliminate the riser - and keep charging the same prices as they would for a complete bow!

But then, making a short, split limb bow without an actual riser isn't exactly a new idea...
