As an experiment I'm mowing my clover in strips. That is I mowed half of the clover field in arternating rows. Leaving the row inbetween unmowed. My thinking is this, mowing stresses the clover so by mowing half at a time I will only stress half the clover. The deer prefer new growth, with half at a time being mowed I will lengthen the time that new growth is available IN THEORY. What Cha Think?
