RE: Sunday hunting in Virginia.
Welcome to one of the last strongholds of the Bible belt. The chances of ever getting Sunday hunting approved in Virginia are slim and none. While slim hasn't left town yet, he's down at the Greyhound station with a one way ticket in hand.
The politicians are not very likly to overturn the Sunday hunting ban because they really could give a rat's arse about the working man. All they are concerned with is all their big money buddies who either don't have to work, can take off anytime they want, or just plain pass the job off to some poor working stiff.
As for your question of should it be allowed or not, I say it should.
An extra day's income could really help many of the small mom and pop business that cater to the hunting community. There are only a few (maybe 5 or so) that don't allow Sunday hunting.
But what do I know, I'm just an uneducated college graduate.....<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
