I hunt with Sako rifles (older ones) and the weight is annoying. A couple of years ago I stopped carrying the '06 and switched to the .243 - I just got tired of lugging that long action around. I have friends who shoot Tikka's and when we're at the range they shoot about the same as my Sako's.
