IMO the 7mm is the best "all around" caliber made. I personally own a 7mm Mag and a 7mm RUM. I enjoy both and have hunted Antelope, Mulies, Elk, Moose, Bear, etc. It will handle anything and give you solid performance when hunting all types of big game. I would recommend the RUM if you reload (a must for the RUMs) and are looking for a just a little flatter/more energy version of the 7mm.
