Heard this on the news tonight: CWD just found in one of the wild deer that had been harvested in the Onieda, NY area. The sample will be retested, but it doesn't look good. This is terrible news. This will be devistating to NY hunting. I'm not worried about eating an infected deer, just the ramifications it will have on hunting nad the potential for a large slaughter of deer in central NY. Not good at all.
