I will attempt to get things started although I wouldn't consider myself very conventional.

1. Last season I used my Q2XL for all of my elk and deer hunting. I'm not sure I like the term "best" because it is so subjective. I use a number of different bows. For example this year I am using my old Darton Maverick for elk hunting. I say old but it is practically new. New limbs, upgraded cam, 65% let off, it really packs a punch. Certainly not as quiet and perhaps not as forgiving as my Q2XL but just what the doctor ordered for those big tough elk.

2. Archer's choice Grizzly sight with a modified mepro pin standing in for the twenty yard pin.

3. Muzzy ZE. I am still surprised at the performance of this rest. I'm not wild about the looks, although I have gotten sort of used to it, but I can't complain about its performance under a variety of conditions.

4. Sims enhancer coupled with there new module system. I like it!

5. Carbon Express 400. They have served me well over the last 3 years. I am getting a lot of pressure from one of my friends to shoot the Nitro Stingers exclusively. I have shot them and they seem to perform well too.

6. I could get lengthy here. Many good models to choose from. I have over twenty tree stands of the fixed persuasion. For the money the Game Tracker baby Gorilla is hard to beat. However for verstility in an area where the trees aren't straight I haven't found a stand to beat a Buckfinder.
