You might experience a little more noise from the rigging not being taut, but it sure isn't going to hurt the limbs. I don't know where someone got that idea. There are rare occurences where if the rigging isn't tight enough the string can actually jump off the cams when shot, but if you aren't having this problem then go ahead and shoot it at a comfortable weight. The only other drawback is that you must make sure you have enough threads left on the limb-bolts so that they don't pull out of the pockets. Maybe once every couple weeks bump the weight up about 1/2 turn on the limbs. Be advised that this will eventually require you to possibly have to retune the bow, but soon you'll be within the limits of the bow and all should be well.
