Does anyone know if a Marlin 1895G 45-70 can handle 35KPSI loads? Like to try my hand at a 300gr partition load with H4198 kicking over 2000fps. The manuals are not clear. Speer says 28K is safe, Nosler is totally unclear, Rifle mag had an article saying any gun post 72 Marlin will handle well over 40KPSI.
