Man, I can relate to this. In years past (pre wife and kids) I hunted weekdays and all weekend. Now with a job, family and other responsibilities, time is a precious commodity. However, since I have worked at the same place for nearly 15 years, I am reaping the benefits of lots of vacation time each year. I'm able to take the week of spring break off with the kids, a week in the summer for vacation, a week at thanksgiving, a week at Christmas, and that still leaves me 2 more weeks to hunt and fish! Not to mention I can "bank" nearly an extra week through the year of time that I work over. Makes life nice to hit the lake or the woods while everyone else is working. Actually, I've probably had my most enjoyable times during the week. My friend is self employeed so by both of us hunting and fishing during the week, we really minimize the time away from our families. Life is good...
