I feel your pain smokyghost. I too only get to hunt weekends. I work first, then I spend time with family, then is she lets me I go hunting. If I could only hunt more.

My solution to stay in good with the wife is to hunt two weekends in a row, then skip a weekend. This works great for me. I also try to take 6-8 vacation days a year during the rut.
