It was really cool! I was walking out of some big pines into a clear cut and I heard some fighting purrs and putts and clucks and all kinds of sounds. So I got to looking and about 100 yards away a good tom flys up and lights in a tree about 300 yards away so since it was an hour untill dark I thought I would go get on him. As im walking through the cut down I see something running about 70 yards away so I through up my rifle to look through the scope and it was a big bobcat. I laid into him with my 22 hornet and rolled him! When I went to get him I found feathers everywhere. I went to get the gobbler the next day but he got with some hens. Im gonna mount them both fighting when I get the turkey. The bobcat is 31 lbs!!! Also same day I saw a hen fighting some crows she faned out and ran at them it was a fun day.
