Sounds to me like you should of scouted the whole property during the off season, But if it were me, I would set up where I seen those deer, or set up away and scout while i hunted. Sounds like you have a food source and a water source now all you have to do is key in on it. This could be a morning spot or it could be a afternoon spot and during the rut its hard to tell. I wouldnt over hunt it. Maybe you ought to invest in some trail timers to find out when there moving through and which way there heading when they do. you ought to check out this off season and learn the land.
