I believe that is the only good snake, a dead one. I know some snakes help out around the barns keeping the rats in line but I can not stand them. I fish alot in an area that has alot of cotton mouths and they are some mean suckers. I carry a .410 hand gun that I shoot double barrel bird shot at them. It is a neat gun, colt .45 or .410 double barrel hand gun. About 5 inch barrels.
