Well after nailing my gobbler....although weh ave a week left...I think I'm calling it a season....I've got all this stuff to do this week to get ready for my summer job...but part of it involves studying for my nursing state boards each morning. I'm plenty happy with one gobbler...gotta save some for next year!:DLooks like a good spring for nesting though!

well, sorry for dissapearing for so long. I have been busy with work andtaking care of things around the house. I only made it out 3 times this season and couldn't seal the deal on a bird. We had a verywet spring which made it hard to hunt because all the birds move to adjacent properties to get out of the water, and the birds just didn't want to co-operate with me.congrats to everyone that scored this season, hopefully i'll bag one next year

Had this boy and a brother come sneaking through a hedgerow trying to go unnoticed, but my 835 doesn't miss much

85% sure i missed one of these two birds a few weeks earlier, misjudged and rushed the shot

Ends in a smile though...

17lb Eastern, 7/8" spurs, 9 3/8" beard, good two year old, could be a bit heavier though...

Is there anyone on team #23 Full Strut still out hunting?
If not we gave it a heck of a run . we are still winners of the new friends we made this year and no one can take the memories away .

I just wanted to say it was a blast with all of u on team Full Strut!!!!
13 th place was our final position whitch i think is a great job for 6 birds entered.Again congrats to us .Good luck next season to all of you.
