All the turkey in MO were shaking like a leaf
The word had gotten out Arrow and Fire were about to leave
Across the Midwest turkeys sent out the word
Arrow and Fire are coming to kill them a bird
The closer they got to Hale
The more the turkeys began to fail
Their little hearts were so weak
at the thought they'd go pale
knowing this was some poult's dad's last week.
Opening day came as dawn brake
And the turkeys tried to beat them by picking teams
When 2 big old toms heard a hen they'd like to take
As he draw near and they saw the hen of their dreams
The Bid old gobblers stretched out their heads
There was a double boom from the woods
Those boss toms lay dead.
The sound that caused the demise of them all
was the sweet turkey music Fire
made with his mouth call.
Arrow said I new when you made
Ol Tom and Jerry Gobble that warm March day
that you'd sing them toms a pretty little song
they'd come running to us and we'd blow them away.
The turkeys were relieved to get the news
The beast from the east were on the move
Back home again in Indiana
The Hoosier Toms were spooked
More than they could tell ya.
They knew the end was near for some of their pals
When Arrow and Fire called to them like their gals
They'd knew they'd be tricked
but couldn't hold on
The sweet sound of Arrow singing their song
The end came again for two more pair
When those mighty hunters Fire and Arrow
Shotguns filled the air.
