hey jimmy d hows it been goin with that monster you was chasing.

Anyone having any luck yet? I had 2 toms come in Saturdy morning but they wouldn't come any closer than about 100 yards. We did have a doe close enough we could have almost petted her. Pretty slow in my hunting area this weekend. Didn't hear a single gobble Sunday. Only saw one of the toms Sunday. He didn't come close either.

no turkeys down for me yet. gonna head out tomorrow. even though its supposed to bve raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. but ya cant kill em on the couch.

Called in a dandy for the wife today....25.6 lbs....10 7/8" beard...1 1/16" spurs. Going to be hard for me to beat that!
