My brother came by tonight and told me he's been hearing a gobbler every evening when his donkey brays.LOL. He will keep me posted on the gobbler.(he doesn't turkey hunt)

Well I'll be taking my wife out in the morning.. She has IL second season.. I have to wait for third and fifth seasons here in IL. . Lady's First.

Of all saturdays, I had to work this morning so I didn't get to hunt. I went this afternoon and set up in a pasture. Spent 1st hour trying to get the horses to leave my decoys alone. Had a hen come in and we carried on quite a conversation but no gobbler today.

Anybody still alive on this team? last post was 4/11. Nice if we could get some updates from you guys. My season starts saturday gettin pretty pumped.
