You guys were very right...Went to the farm on the way home from classes today andsaw the same group of gobblers inthe field, only about50 yards from where I spooked them. This time I sat down quickly and was able to watch them aithout spooking them.

Hopefully these guys stick around and dont spread out too much. They all look atleasta fewyears old, pretty fat and thick beards.

Anyone else been scouting orseeing groups of longbeards? Whenwill they start to leave bachelor groups and spread out?

No scouting for me for awhile. Hard to do so when theres an ass load of snow on the ground! [8D]

I got awhile to scout anyways. Just gonna keep on ice fishing.

I probably wont scout much either. I know my area extremely well, and i can guarantee you where the turkeys will be roosting opening morning. That being said, i do have a few tricks up my sleeve.

It's been too cold to do any scouting. It's supposed to be close to 80 this weekend so I'll probably go poke around some. I've got less than a month to go!!

It was 9 here this morning, and hasnt got passed 25 till today this week.

I was ice fishing this morning and my eyelashes were freezing faster than I could de-ice them. It warmed up to about 42 today and is suppose to hit 45 tomorrow. I haven't seen temps this warm for a very long time. Call me crazy but I wish it stay cold, I don't wan't a warm up quite yet.

I love when the weather starts getting warm and the days start getting longer...its a beautiful thing.

It's not beautiful when the ice melts. A part of me dies inside when that happens. [8D]

All I can do is suck it up and watch the thermometer rise andthe bikinis come out.
