Well its been rough to say the least. Monday and Tuesday I didnt hear a single gobble. Today I was lucky enough to hear one at 5:30am and I booked it toward his roost. I worked him on and off until about 8:30 when I heard the last gobble of the day. I stayed until about 10:30 and he never made another peep. Going back in the morning, going to get a bit closer and set-up properly.(Today's rushed setup was a mess - too far away, a creek/spring between us...)

Supposed to rain tomorrow though. I'll let you all know. Ohhhh yeah, I almost got mauled by a bear today too.. YAYYYYY!

Bring him home Fingerz. We could use a few more birds for the contest. Way to go Embry and Bandhunter. What about the rest of you guys. Haven't heard from some of you. Are all of you hunting? It's killing me not being out there chasing longbeards.

Turkeys are being lame as hell. That is all. It is only a matter of time before one gets blown away...

Went out tonight. Had them right where i wanted them. I knew they would be where they were because I saw them this morning. I had them coming in and some dork farmer on an atv checking fences effed it up for me. Yet again I get messed up by someone. ( you dont even wanna know how many times Ive been screwed up this season). [>:]Going back tomorow and the next day and the next and the next and the next

Well, "hopefully by this time next week I'll have one on the ground as well" held true. I scored today at 9:55. A short story and a score will be up soon.
