Hi guys!
Glad I could join such a fine group of fellow feveredfools. Anyone got an idea for our name? I'll toss out an idea...The Strut Nutz.

Two seasons ago, I was on the 2007 Team #1 Tominators...and we won! I'm hoping everyone has lots of fun and fantastic luck this season.

I will be hunting Massachusetts & New York.. Possibly CT too... We'll see.

Hey guys, glad to be part of the team! I'm going to be hunting in NY, although things will be tough this year because I'm going to be graduating and studying for the bar exam (yikes!). I'm going to make time to sneak away and try to wack a couple though. Last year I managed to take two real nice birds in one weekend so that's what I'm hoping for this year too. Anyways, looking forward to getting to know you all this season and winning the contest!

Strut Nutz is a cool name... I have always like Jellyheads and stuff like that ... I am pretty easy going...

here i is!!!!!!!!!i'll be hunting florida, alabama, georiga and mississippi this year. we start after them in 23 days for our youth and 25 days for me. been hearing gobbeling for the past couple of weeks. plenty of birds to chase, but killing them is a different story..............tony

Mid April here but then i need to wait another month and can start in my home state May 9.

Soooooooooo.............off down the yellow brick road to GA and TN.

Allowed 3 in each state but will be happy with just one ole Tom.

Hello all, good to see the teams formed and am looking forward to some great turkey hunting this season. I will be mostly in Central Florida this year. Was looking ot go to Texas for some RIO's and Georgia but looks like now it will be just Florida unless some circumstances change. Looks like a great group of fellas on our team.

Massachusetts is going to have a first ever youth turkey hunt the Saturday before regular season ends. We have come up w/ a hunt sponsored by one of our local sportsman's club and have 1/2 dozen volunteers to take some 14 year olds who have completed the state mandated hunter safety course recently. Can't wait. This should be a blast... We do this for a special youth pheasant hunt as well in the fall.

Checking in fellas, PA Hardwoods here, I will be hunting Pennsylvania and possibly a few others to be determined yet. My Team came real close to winning this thing last year hopefully this group is a winning bunch.

Hey welcome all - I would get busy and nominate a Captain - whom ever is fine with me because as you know while I can hunt - I am busy running this contest.

So I would make a poor Captain......

Also Team name or a Team Avatar - go for it guys!

And let your buds know as we need 6 more to fill all teams with 11 people and then any who sign-up late will be placed as we expect a few No-shows.

Dang paperwork is never done - heck what is that stickin to my shoe? :)

I don't really care what our name is...as long at it ends with "2009 Spring Turkey Contest Winners" haha. Jelly Heads works for me, someone else mentioned Strut Nutz i think, either one of those work for me.

I beg out of Captain - tho I certainly could do it - runing this thing does take time and I want to just hunt and report to someone else.

Last few yrs I stayed out of it - to be impartial.

its getting close. we only have 18 more days. i love this time of year. i'm starting to roost on the bed post. i also have a turkey hunters alarm clock starts owl hooting in the morning, i shock gobble at it. just went and picked up some 12ga nitros for me and some 20ga nitros for my daughter..i can't wait..............tony

Hey guys. Reporting for duty! Will be killing in KS, MO, and OK. Just picked the bow up from the shop today. Tuned and ready. Saw three toms strutting this morning. They will meet an unfortunate end. April 1st start date here in KS.
