Good job on the avatar Conner, and way to step up as team captain!! I'm about ready to give the coyotes a rest for the season, and then I'll start to focus on turks!

Actually wis rifle hunter, tom turkeys can and will strut and gobble during all times of the year. Seen it and heard it many many times. As a matter of fact, last Nov., while sitting in a tree stand whitetail hunting on the farm in KS., if I wouldn't have known better from all the gobbling that I heard, I would've guessed it to be April. It was just one of those mornings that was cool and calm, and for what ever reason, the toms were fired up. And just last month while calling coyotes with my cousin in western KS., we watched a field of about 100 turkeys, and several toms were in full strut. Nothin' strange about it.
