Do deer eat peanut?
My hunting spot is on the edge of the peanut field and I am wondering if peanut is the favorite food source for deer? I dont see many deer track on the field although last year, when it was a corn field, tons of tracks were seen.
Thanks

You bet they like peanuts. Cotton too. They like the green tops, and I imagine they paw the peanut out of the ground and eat it too. They like peas too. Deer love corn fields for other reasons than to eat the corn. They can walk through them safely, bed down, and eat.

I know they like peanut butter .My son put out a pine cone loaded with it and bird seed and there were tons of tracks around it later that day and the cone was torn off the branch . I don't see why they wouldn't like peanuts
