Successful deer hunt... well sortof
O.k. I didn't see one deer over the weekend... I usually see on average 10 a day (at least)... It was windy and very cold in KY... I had a box blind so I packed in my Thompson Center Omega and my fathers old Sako finnbear manlicher 25-06 in the odd case that a coyote walked by... I had only seen one, once but heard them all night before. Anyway after a frustrating day I saw what I thought was a coyote approximately 150 yards away from me... I put down the ML and picked up the sako, it was running fast and I hurried to get it in my scope... I saw at the last second it was a gray fox... Even more exciting... I fired and dropped it in it's tracks... What a pretty harvest, I am going to get a full mount. Here is a pic... Aren't hunting stories always funny like that???

Nice I just got one the other day, shot it in neck (so i wouldent ruin the mount) at 100 yrds with my 22. Im also getting it mounted.
