I've seen them roosted/standing on roofs here in our town but never a power pole. I hope he's always careful..lol

I quess he will definately will see anything coming his way from a long distance, just doesn't have a lot of cover to protect him from the elements.

Prob a barn yard turkey that go loose

You won't see that in the wild... Wild turkeys are not tought to sleep on telephone poles... Come to think of it. There aren't any telephone poles were I hunt

Here in Alabama I've seen as many as 6 turkeys roosting on those huge metal towers that hold up the big transmission lines on a big power line. These things must be 80 feet tall and the turkeys sit right up on top and come daylight they pitch down into the woods or into the powerline cut.
