Questions about tuning a Vulcan
When I bought my Vulcan, I had it paper tuned with 390 grain CX Maxima Hunter arrows. I have switched over to Easton Axis FMJ 340 arrows which grain out to 450 grains. The new arrows fly good and at 20 and 30 yards, they hit dead on. When I get out to 40 and 50 yards, the back end of the arrow tends to kick out to the left, causing the arrow to dip off to the right and drop. I have a feeling that this is just a tuning issue. My question is, Do I need to papertune my bow again since I am shooting a different arrow? Or is there an easy way to fine tune the bow out at longer distances? Also, I am shooting 70# and is it possible that the 340 spine is too stiff for my bow and the arrow is kicking out sideways because of that? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!
