Good start to the NB deer season

Well it has been a very successful start to the season here. I have attached a few pictures of the deer my wife and father tagged the first day. Both were 7 pointers. My wife and I watched several does and fawns before she shot the 7point at 8:30AM on Monday morning. There was a smaller spike or small 4point withhim when she shot

thanks we are pretty proud of them. We have big deer here but not like yours out west. Once in a while somebody will drop a big boy but nothing like what you guys seem to find year after year.
these bucks are both young but good meat and very healthy.

I just need to get my tag filled and we will be done. I have some vacation time coming up so I am looking forward to getting out. I have only been out 1 morning this week but that is going to change come next week and the week after that

Well my hunting partner and I finally scored a big old boy. He shot a huge 9 point on Friday afternoon about 20 minutes before dark. We didn't even realize how big he was until we found him a few feet in the woods just off the hydro line where he was attempting to cross. He field dress about 220lbs and had an inside spread of 22inches.
