Huge Buck in Wyoming County NEPa
This was killed in Steve Volker's woods behind his house yesterday at 3:00 on Opening Day of Pa Rifle Season
All of our Tunkhannock friends have been watching this buck for three years. This kid Joey is the only one Steve lets hunt on his 5 acres, and that's where it was yesterday!

He's legal. Look closely. His tag is detached from the license and being held to the ear by the license holder pin. It's mostly behind the license but it's there. Perfectly legal. I have seen guys pin the whole license to a deer without detaching the tag which is NOT legal.
Nice buck! Tell your friend congrats!!

I believe its perfectly legal what he did and I do it that waya lot as well. For some reason I always forget to put those dang bread ties in my license holder.
On another note. I don't care what the WCO would say, I wouldn't be sticking a hole through that bucks ear. Taxidermists aren't too fond of that because its something you have to becareful with when mounting so you don't make that tiny hole even bigger.
