Default Help needed!

Hi, guys. Looking for your advice. My hubby began to be obsessed with hunting. Soon it is his birthday, and I don’t know what kind of a gift to present him. Decided to look for something in general of hunting, like boots, but what kind of boots could you recommend me to buy him as a present on his BD?
I made some research, for example here, take a look, http://www.sovietboots.com/long-boot...ack-boots.html , they recommend such boots for angling and hunting., are they ok or maybe I need something different? Please give me examples!!!!
thanx in advance for your help!

Most avid hunter are very particular about the gear they use.

Buy him a Cabela's gift card - he will put it to good use !

That's my best advise.

Sheridan has a good idea there. Whichever is closer to you either Cabelas or Bass Pro Shop. But if you want to buy boots local Herman Survivor boots are pretty good. They come in a variety of styles depending on how much insulation you want or if you want them non-insulated. And they won't break your wallet. Another choice is an all rubber boot like Muk, LaCross and others. I'd try to get it out of him what type of boot he likes or just take him out and tell him to pick a pair out for his BD.

I agree, nothing worse than getting a gift you don't want, then have to pretend it is just what you needed. Get him a gift certificate and let him pick what he wants.

My wife has gotten me "pick your own" gifts in the form of gift cards several times by cutting out a cardboard/posterboard partial size version of the item she intends for me to buy, then including a gift card with it for a sufficient amount, and wrap that in a box about the right size for what it's supposed to be. Kinda like she's earmarking the funds for the TYPE of gift, but wants to give me the latitude to pick the exact one I want.

Only reason it came to mind is that she did that 2yrs ago for a pair of boots, same context as the OP.
