Simmons Aetec

[Big Duck Extreme]

Anybody have any experience with the Simmons Aetec. I am looking for a 3-9, matte finnished scope for around $200. This is a gun that is used just to shoot for fun so I dont want to go to expensive. The Aetec fits my criteria but have no experience with it. Any comments would be appreciated, or if you would like to mention another scope in my range let me know.

I just purchased the Aetec 2.8-10 x 44mm matte black for my Rem. 308 semi auto. I like the 5" eye relief, the 44mm objective lens and the price. It' s not a high priced scope but it' ll work for me. I have just installed it on my gun but haven' t used it yet but I' m impressed with it so far. I had considered the Bushnell Elite 3200 scope but decided to go with the Simmons.ÿ

I have a 3.8-12x44 aetec on a 300 ultra mag and I love the scope. Very clear and lets in lots of light. No problems with recoil.

I have two Aetec scopes and I am very pleased with them. I have had them for about 4 years.
