I've been watching them for about a month now. They look nice, the Ed Brown action is a winner for sure. I wish they had faster twists in the smaller Cals. For the price, I would probably buy a Howa Alpine (Basner stock), a Forbes or a Nosler then rebarrel it with a fast twist and be the same price as a LAW.

There's a 35 page thread on 24hr about them. LAW is going to change some twists, but still not to an 8 on the 243 or 22/250.

If I didn't have a .270 being built, I wouldn't mind one in .270.

The strange thing is, the 280 is a 9 twist, 280 Ack is a 10 twist and the 7mm Rem mag is a 9 twist...

Always made nice stocks!! His rifles look ever bit as nice. I would like to have seen the 243 with a faster twist.

Mark told me once he just wanted to build great rifles, he never really liked the marketing/business part of his job, reckon he's now doing what he likes doing. hope he does well, he's one of the best smiths in the country.

As a fan of all things over-powered, I really dig seeing someone building CRF actions!!!!

Wait until Diablo Custom Rifles is up and running in about 6 weeks...

Have you thought about a 6.5 WSM? I happen to know of one available, with a nice Richards microfit stock, I know how you like wood over synthetics...
