Slug Guns....What Are You Buying?
#11
I bought an HR Ultra-light single shot 12 ga slug gun with a rifled barrel a few years back. So far it has been more than adequate. Not fancy and not expensive but it is accurate and has tipped over every deer I've shot at with it. I don't see a new one in my immediate future.

not 100% true, I've seen them for sale only at Dicks Sporting Goods, the stock and foreend is in olive green not black, and the the stock isn't Monte Carlo, which I like but not a total deal breaker

IF l were to HAVE to use a slug gun instead of my 460, it would be a 220. No other decision. BUT!! I would have that guns for at least 6 months prior to using it to get it a "ME" go over. Full action, bolt and trigger job. Honed, polished and tweaked to the 9's. Then comes the rounds. AFTER mounting a quality Burris scope on Warne mounts and rings.
