Default need help. a 223 caliber rifle

have any of you seen a single shot .223 calbier rifle that only costs about 150 $ ? i remember talkin to some one about it and they had bought one. i cant remember what kind it was or were i could look at it on the web but i seen it he gave the website to me but that was last fall. any info on this would be great. i am thinkin of gettin one because of the cheap ammunition it is for the 223 and i cant spend a hole lot of money. if i could i would get a ruger or winchester bolt action but i cant afford it right.

Your probably thinking about an NEF Handi rifle. New England Firearms I think they are a little more than $150 (maybe $200 or so). Can' t help you out on the website though.

Here is their website. I believe that H&R makes the rifle.

Rossi makes one as well, it has interchangeable barrels. Here is that website.

For the money NEF makes a great firearm. My first 45-70 was an old H&R (now synonomous with NEF) and my Dad and I have both owned a few of their shotguns. That H&R is still used every year by some of the family to bring in those Maine deer.
Great quality at a very low cost. How can you beat that?
