Default Got a new toy today....

I finally picked up the Remington 700 SPS that a friend had been holding for me. Its a 7-08 so now I have 2 7-08's. I think its time to rebarrel the 700 adl since I dont really need the same gun twice. Im thinking maybe a 260ai or a 338 Fed. Gotta get the mandatory spring/trigger adjustment and another scope before I shoot this one in but if it shoots as good now as it did when I broke the barrel in for the original buyer I have no doubts its gonna make ol dad happy

I have no personal experience with Remingtons other than the 870 and honestly don't know a dang thing about the performance of either other than the 700 being used for sniper jobs but I felt like I should say:

See which one shoots best before rebarreling either?

Do the 338 Federal. I might want to borrow it sometime. Besides I need a forst hand report on that one before I do one.

Nothing beats a 7-08 for medium sized game!
