FORT PECK here i come

So i was just talkin with some of my fishing buddies and we've been talkin to this guy that lives down in Montana and hes been sending us all these pics of these HUGE fish hes has been catching out of this lake and well we have finally decided to take a trip down there next Jan for a couple weeks of fishing. Just wondering if anyone has fished this lake before and what you thought of it.

Sounds fun man!(internet hi-five!)What are you bringing down there in the way of rods, reels and tackle?

well your allowed 6 set-lines per person so ill probably bring 6 tip-ups and a rod if i feel like jigging. Gunna take a couple campers down there and just camp right on the ice, bring about 50 million pounds of bait, probably gunna take my vid camera and tape the whole thing, tons of warm clothes as well since its gunna be Jan, probably gunna tow the quad down there as well so i can set tip-ups like 700yds away since you can use barbed hooks there(a treat to me since here in alberta all hooks have to be barbless) and you just have to beable to see your tip-up, so i do also plan on bringing the binoc's too but all in all i think its gunna be a wicked trip too bad its still like another year away but i think the wait is gunna be worth it.
