WHY I have a 15+ year old Horton Hunter ( at that time ,top of Horton's line) that has workad perfectly .
I know it is slower than the new styles ,but at 35 yds it can still stick 1 bolt in the back of another ( if I do my part )in groups of 5 .
It sounds like you are going to get only a few FPS increase ?? What wrong with the old one ??

if you ever shot a tenpoint or an excalibur you would know why. you wouldn't pick up that horton again!!!! what's wrong with having nice stuff. i'm sure a 1929 model a would get you were your going but WHY do you drive something newer.
