Diamond Black Ice spec question
From this photo what draw length would you think this bow is set? For some reason I was told 29 inches but I think it is less? Anybody care to help me out.........

RE: Diamond Black Ice spec question
You have to look at the module on the other side of the cam and that combined with the post setting (1-10) will tell you the draw length.

RE: Diamond Black Ice spec question
If the module is a #2 then it is 29" because it is on post setting 7.

RE: Diamond Black Ice spec question
Is it a number or a setting?
|
RE: Diamond Black Ice spec question
The module will say for example DP2.
The post setting is set by counting the number of tick marks starting at 1 obviously. If you count, your draw stop is on the 7th tick mark. So if you have DP2 on your module, with the draw stop set where it is, you should be at 29". |

RE: Diamond Black Ice spec question
Does this help Like rob said the post setting sets letoff. With your DP2 module and draw stop setting of 7 you should be close to 29". From there you can make small adjustments (Very small) to the draw stop to increase/decrease letoff and make small DL adjustments. If it feels short your string or cable lengths may be out of whack causing the DL to be off. Best way to check is to measure the actual DL at a bow shop so that you can be sure that all is well. |
RE: Diamond Black Ice spec question
Thanks,I just got the bow not even a week ago and it just doesnt seem right with the DL. I will be heading to the bow shop this weekend. Thanks for all your help and increasing my knowledge......Rob Donahue
