1. Start deleting/changing waypoints in his GPS. 2. Air out his tires next time you find him on your honey hole without you (just let the air out, don't slice his tires). 3. Start talking up some random piece of public hunting ground, the more hunters and less deer there the better.
Good luck dealing with this guy, I am sure you can thing of some more very fun ways to mess with his honey hole stealing ass.

Next time I found him in my stand I would zip tie him to the tree and sprinkle him down with doe in heat urine. Let the rut come to him. Tell him if he likes your spots so much that he wont tell you he's hunting there, that you like him so much you wont tell anyone he's there either. Let him hangout there for the night....
No...in all seriousness, I would have a lil chat with Cuz, and talk to him like a man. Man laws go past cousin in law laws. Mr. Nice guy can only go so far. Public or not, if you didnt show him them he wouldnt have known. He could have least told you he was hunting them so you dont go out and find him in the tree you were planning on hunting.
My 2cents.

Too many of you guys are getting hung up the public hunting land thing. This has NOTHING to do with hunting public or private land. It has everything to do with deception and lack of respect. I would not ever hunt another day with that guy. Not one. I work too damn hard in my scouting and preparation to have someone else mess it up by not respecting me. And I really can't believe some of you guys are actually defending this guy because hey, its just public land. BS.

Get a tree saddle and you won't worry about him going to your spot.
This is just a funny little game we play: my hunting buddies and I bought the Garmin Rino GPS/walkie talkies and one of the features is that once you make radio contact, your position shows up on their gps. If a guy is hunting a new location, we'll make up any kind of story on the radio to makehim respond to him so we know his new spot. Its done all in fun, but we'll always threaten 'boy you better show up tomorrow orwe're sneakin' into your honey hole!'
