Not sure about everyone else's experiences, but my Summit Viper SS has yet to make the slightest sound during a hunt. It's really quiet going up and down the tree also.
I agree with this....and I've owned a Lone Wolf.

What I do with mine (Summit and Bullet Backpacker)......is I have the platforms sprayed with Rhino Liner materials. It's quiet.....and it's slip-resistant. Works for me.

And for comfort....the Summit wins HANDS DOWN.

I guess I was looking more for a hangon, unless I found some trees that were somewhat bare for climbing and just cut branches...but how big of a problem would that cause?
