RE: CVA Optima/what load?
I just purchashed an OP 50 along with T7 pellets and 348 powerbelts. Get home and read the manual and it says not to use anything over 300 grains in bullet weight but I see so many people useing this load here and on another black powder site. Don' t know if to use them or not.

RE: CVA Optima/what load?
Having problems loading 2nd and third shots.
I loaded with 2 t7' s and 245 aero tips. The first loades verry smooth. The second is ok untill the last 2-3" . My palm is still red from loading, two days ago.
Also, the ram rod is a little short. I loaded a fer Hp' s with 2 t7' s and it left close to 1/4" to hold on to.[:@]
I' m still trying to zero it in. I' ve only had a few hrs to mess with it(working 2 jobs). Where would be a good Zero point? Right now it' s close at 100yds shooting two t7' s and 245 aero tips.
that should be 1704 fps, and 1580 foot-pounds. I' m sure thats enough energy, but what' s a good standard that' s needed?
