Shame on you Bronko. But I guess doubters will always be with us.

Yes, I was using open sights. I took the Lyman peep off for this shoot because it would have given me an unfair advantage. The group is a little larger than my usual at that distance. I guess the 30 m.p.h. variable cross wind had more effect than I'd expected. Also, I think my eyes are starting to lose some acuity. I had a small bit of difficulty focusing on that one-inch dot at 300 yards.

OK - uh huh...

The only other guy that I have seen do that is Quigley - when he was Down Under... but I figured the wind out...

It weren't a ML so he did have a slight advantage....

SL... my dad has that exact gun, but in a .45-70 not .45-110. That thing will drive tacks. I saw him outshoot a guy using a Rem 700 .22-250 at 200yds. Sweet rifles!

Dad couldn't compete with Semi of course

Well with this post that Semi is doing I believe that maybe his head was "down under". But because this is a G rated forum, I won't say exactly where! But let's just say he was suffering from a rectal / cranial inversion.

Hmmmph....well then I may as well not post the 1000 yard target shot by my grandson with his Red Ryder BB gun under my tutelage.

Brian Williams. A name(reporter)you can trust.
Speaking of Quigley, when I grow up I want to be able to shoot over 1,000 yds. freehand just like him.
