Default What happened to the TMO thread?

I tried a search and can not find it. Was this removed to please one of the many advertisers?

Gone by the hands of the admin. The reasons are all of the above.

Yup. I haven't seen Biggamedave since. I guess he got the muzzle by big brother. BGD if you are looking at the site why don't you post. No need to go back to the issues or what happened because it is clear to us.

This is a shame. If the original complaint was true, why would any fair minded person hide the truth from other hunters that may be looking for a guide service?

If the original complaint had no basis, why wouldn't TMO want the results to be known?

I see that the wife of the outfitter is now on the Board of the Wyoming Outfitters Association. How nice.

Will this thread be removed? Will I be banned for mentioning a taboo subject?

Could we at least have a reason that the thread was removed?

Why don't you call the board and ask the disposition? Maybe BGD's complaint was "unfounded" but then you'ld just think the fix was in. It's not as "cool," or as much fun but there's seldom a conspiracy.

I'm totally unfamiliar with this topic, maybe a real short and sweet recap?

I don't remember the entire complaint, but it was based on the statement that a group of hunters had contracted with Table Mountain Outfitters to hunt a certain area and were switched to a guide service that was subcontracted by TMO to take these hunters off their hands. The hunters were sent to a different area and had a very bad hunt.
This was reported to be a complaint that was filed with the Wyoming Outfitters (where the owner of TMO holds a seat on the Board), but how it was ultimately resolved has not been disclosed.
After the post detailing the complaint, several first time posters rode to the rescue of TMO - telling tales of their love for this outfitter. I think the only one of these defending posters that stayed on this site is Ol Mongo (who seems to be a decent sort).
TMO advertises on this site, and the post detailing the complaint has been removed - along with the original poster (BigGameDave). This thread was many pages long and I am certain that many people would like to find out what the outcome was.
