Default Bushnell PowerView 20x50 Super High-Powered Binoculars

anybody bought these? im looking at something for in between my usual 10x field glasses and a spotting scope or instead ofthe spotting scope. they arent a whole bunch of money im just wondering if im throwing money away.

Unless they have image stabalization I'm think'n they'd be impossible to hold still enough to see what you're try'n to look at. My 12X Steiners are tough enough and often I lean against something solid to make the image stop jiggling about.

well thats why i was going to use them with the tripod. my main concern was if they were going to be clear enough to see something that far. i am wanting to use field glasses for spotting because my eye gets too tired using a scope and causes my eye to strain and then i have trouble keeping my contacts in. these are cheap enough that i could try it and see how it works but i dont want to buy them if they are not worth it.

yeah i read the reviews thats why i was asking if anybody actually had them so i can ask them questions. some reviews on there make them sound like a piece of junk and others they sounds fine. thats why im hesitant to buy them. im mostly worried they are going to show up and be broken but thats the risk you take buying on the net. amazon is great about returns but i just dont want the hassle if i can avoid it.

You might have better luck at the site below.It is much more optics oriented than this site,and you are more likely to find someone that has those specific binoculars.

thanks i will try that site too. thats been the biggest problem trying to find out more about them is not very many people have them. none that ive talked to.i know bushnell makes good products but because not very many people have them that makes me question them too.
