yall rember when i said i dont like black people well theres this lil black girl that ive fallin in love with i wont ever ask her out but i just wanted to know what yall think i should do by the way the reason i wont ask her out is because half my family is in the ku klux klan and theyd string me up if they ever herd about me liken her

i think littlehuntingfool said it best.... please mods.... half of my family is black... one of my cousins was put in a wheel chair by the ku klux klan.. they are the only people i have NO respect for

I'm in no way defending the KKK or their actions here but for u guys to want to discriminate against somebody because they have relatives in the KKK or are in the KKK or whatever is the same as discrimingating against someone cause they are catholic or because they are black. What the KKK does is wrong but promoting discrimination only furthers their cause.

I saw this thread and some requests to lock it, I edited Cord's post to more appropriate language. I think this may be a legit topic. Huntingirl, I'm sorry about your cousin, but I think Cord's presented a halfway decent topic though he probably could have worded it better.

This is on interracial dating I suppose...should we date across race barriers though it may not be seen as acceptable in our families?

Does race matter in todays world?

Does our geographical location have an affect on interracial dating?

If we are in love with someone of the opposite race, should we go ahead and marry, or do what our family believes we should do?

anyway, if this is legit, go for the girl. I personally wouldn't care what my family says. Being racist like that... it's bs. Glad to see you don't have those same views as your parents.
