Went and got the licence tag to my truck today and while i town i got my mom to get me a new Remington 870 Supermag in synthic stock..hardly wait till season gets here!!!

Well i went out tonight to try the new gun out and damn did i ever do good.....19 out of 25 trap.....thats an improvement over my usual 12....Can hardly wait till dove, and teal seasoon...

nice gun,but i hate teh supermag.teh action isnt as smooth and who needs a 3.5 inch shell anyway?i got a mag in syn with slug barrel.

Congrats DW! The 870 is a heck of a gun, no doubt a good buy. Use it to it's fullest this season!

Hey when your pass shooting snow geese at 60-70 yds straight up and shooting T shot where you only get like 66 pellets in one 3&quot; shell that extra 1/2&quot; is going to help out quite a bit...by adding more pellets hopefully makeing better hits...note that i said snow geese not just geese i do not take shots at Canada geese that are more then 45 yds away or at ducks that are out 40 yds...

i just go up and shoot some trap when there isn't nothing else to do......its kinda fun though...but with price of shells and price of shooting it a little expensive if you shoot several rounds...$3.00 a round, and like $3.00 a box of shells you can figure $6.00 a round of trap...I want to go do some Sport Clay shooing....
